yes it drops the top speed a little but if you use one of the cal. you will see a stock or even a 350 rwhp stangs wont be able to run a full top speed of 3.27 but the with 4.10s the car will top out higher then the 3.27s because to allows to use the power band in 5th where the 3.27s would not because of the lack of gear
