Yep, Prochargers QC sucks. I have seen it firsthand many times.

The NOVI1000 like everyone has suggested is a real good entry level blower. I'd suggest that, or a Vortech S trim. Thats gonna be more money though.

The factory ignition system will work fine for 7-8 pounds of boost. You will want to upgrade your fuel system though, depending on what kit you end up with.
