![]() Unplugging the RCA's eliminates a couple of things. There can still be noise coming from the speakers eventhough the RCA's are not plugged. There isn't supposed to be, that's why you disconnected them- to see if there is a problem. If there is still static there's a problem with the amp or amp ground I would suspect. If you still have noise try regrounding the amp. If there is no noise than try a ground loop isolator. You can get them at any stereo shop for $15-20. The RCA can also be bad so try a new one if you can.
