Put the NMU in the Glove box, under the dash, or buy an extra fuse box cover and.......well, you get the idea.

As far as N2O goes, I'm sortof a newbie to it, so I don't have a whole lot of info on it for you. Sorry. Besides, everything already said is very good advice.
