Great information, Rick!
Just as a side note, I recently took my T5 down to a local shop for a rebuild qoute and they wanted $1000!!! and that was JUST for new snycros. I don't think they wanted my business - too busy maybe? Anyways, I have decided to sell my T5 and purchase a Tremec. If you don't want to go with a Tremec, you could also consider buying a whole new T5Z tranny. Shouldn't be that much more than a rebuild.
