That will definitely work. In fact, I drilled some access holes under the shift boot cover so I can remove the shifter without disassembling the entire center console just so I could do fluid changes through the shifter opening.
Just make sure you either put the exact amount in or open the fill hole and add fluid until it spills. Take care, Rich D. |
