![]() The Evo's are AWD...you have got to know how to launch them, or they will run 5.0-5.4 0-60 on the street. Now if you get someone who knows how to launch...4.3-4.4-4.5. that will be tough. They do fall off on top though. Usually 4.3 sec cars turn low 12's on the street (vipers, 360's, ZO6's)
His car should be well capable of 12.80's @ 107-108. It would definately be a "catch me if you can race". And the comment about the Cobra ECU...that was ovestated. I had a Cobra ECU in my old 93 Snake. With a port job and TFS cam, exhaust, I made close to 290 rwhp. Very capable of mid 12's. They do rob SOME HP, but not as bad as Dark said. I have heard rumors of a max swap of 5-15 hp between that and the A9's. Definately switch if you can, but that is not going to kill you.
