What he said. Always avoid using carb cleaner on a fuel injected motor. I hear bad bad things about doing that. TB cleaner is just as good....it just takes a little more to get the job done thats all.

If the rpms don't come back up when you pop the clutch it sounds like the IAB valve is stuck or not working at all, so I'd check that out before you start with the idle. Cause if you screw with the idle speed, you might need to readjust the TPS base voltage accordingly.
