![]() She was originally purchased for my then 16 year old daughter for $500.00. All she had to do was keep oil in her, she didn't. One day my daughter seemed alarmed about a noise the car was making --DUHH! Well, she lost it. Literally, when I said that I didn't have the time or money to fix it then she went beserk and kicked in the taillights, broke the passenger window and cracked the windshield. Some temper huh! Anyways as a result of that I took it away and locked it in the garage. Then refused to allow her access to the other vehicles we had. Then a co-worker of mine had the '80 I bought for $100.00 a few weeks after that.
In the meantime I have purchased a set of KB .030 over flat top pistons, a set of Rouch 180 heads, a Doug Herbert Cam Kit CF4N, Manley Race Master Valve's (1.94 and 1.60). BTW, The daughter finally grew up and bought her own truck which SHE, not me, takes good care of. Tough lesson learned. |
