You can go as high as you want with a stall converter. Thats the beauty about the AOD, is its not electronically controlled like the AODE is. Just remember two things.
1.) Definitely run a nice external transmission cooler. Torque converters get very, very hot! 2.) You only need a stall speed equal to mod level and the amount of torque produced. What type of mods do you have? Not sure about the block though.
