I bet everyone here will tell you to go with the 4.10's and rightly so. Mine used to be an aod and i had both gearsets. The difference is night and day. I loved it. But I loved it twice as much when i finally got rid of that oversized paperweight behind my engine and inserted a manual z-rated t5.
