![]() Should have 2 u-bolts at the rear of the drive shaft at the u joint/yolk (rear end differential) connection. Remove the 4 nuts and u-bolts allowing disconnection at the rear end of the drive shaft. Be sure to keep the bearing caps safe and sound so as not to lose the roller bearings from inside the u joint caps. Then just slide rhe drive shaft front splined tube out of the tranny toward the rear. Then you're in for a lot more work, LOL
Don't get discouraged though. I just put my rebuilt C-4 back in to my car this weekend for the third time . Kind of a pain to do by yourself, but I've done it numerous times. Be sure to have good jack stands, no job is worth dying for. Rev
