![]() Was checking on long tubes from SLP, mailed the tech guys about tranny clearence when it comes time to put in a new clutch. They say you have to drop the SLP headers to get clearence to the trans. I've heard mention that hooker headers allow enough clearence to swap clutches withouth dropping the headers. however I'm still not sold on the trouble of installing any long tube when it comes to other maintence work and interference. I've been tossing around the idea of getting a mid length header, but havent seen any relavent data on them. Are they marginally better than shorties (which I know to be about zero better than stock exhaust manifolds)?
