You are SUPPOSED to retard your timing when the nitrious is on.
Generally you pull out 2 degrees of timing for every 50 h.p level of increment.

Example: 150 shot...
You would pull out 6 degrees of what the engine runs best on motor alone. Some people will even take an addtional 2 degrees out for a safe measure and work their way back, by checking their plugs on every run. Other wise you risk the danger of hurting your engine, due to a "BAD TUNE".

Generally people tune thier engines for the best that they think that they can get out of it, then they start to play with the nitrious for addtional power.

Depending on your location is super unleaded...91 or 93 octane?
