![]() 2 rules about nitrous advice. #1 Don't take any. #2 Don't give any. Waaaay too many ideas/opinons/idiots out there. It's best to get yourself some knowledge about it first, be it a book, or a good web article. Then make your own decisions, and do what you think is best. That way IF it comes apart, you go home, look in the mirror and bitch at him.
Here's my OPINION on 100 shot of nitrous. 2@ worth of timing should be sufficient. One step colder plugs, and make damn sure you have enough fuel. Lean is faster & dangerous, Fat is slower and safe. I was running 125 shot, 4@ of timing taken out (16@ base timing, I BELIEVE) and 7 psi fuel pressure (carb). Quad shocks, hmmmmm. I just recently took mine off. Really haven't had the chance to drive it like this though, currently fitting the new 410 in so the car's parked for now. =-( I've heard alot, ALOT of people say you get a bit better 60' times without them.
