You have a breather on the PCV valve? Or a breather on the valve cover?
If you have just a breather over the PCV valve you are doing MORE harm then GOOD! The PCV valve needs a vacuum signal to open and vent the crank-case. Other wise it's just like having a plug on it!
If you have a breather over the PCV valve disconnect. ( heres a better way) But first, check to make sure you still have that metal mesh screen under the stock PCV valve.
Then.... you can install a heater hose that would fit tightly inside the platic cup (where the original PCV valve fits) and bring that hose up to about, valve cover height and vent with a breather. Or you can simply just put a plug over the PCV valve, and have a vent over each valve cover.
Most people just run a breather over both valve covers and no PCV valve! PCV will recirculate the crankcase vapors with some oil and will lead to dentention!
