![]() You've got some minor issues. 114 MPH should be at least a 12.20 or so. That means she's making the ponies, but the et is falling off somewhere. Usually the little end of the track, if you're spinning in second you've got traction problems. Run a little less air pressure, get some pointers on "tuning" your upper control arms, and play with the timing. There's is literally TONS of torque hiding in your distributor! I'd be willing to bet your stocker distributor isn't bringing yout total timing in until about 4500 which is waaaaay late, and it's probably only giving you about 30@ total which also sucks. Timing is a "black art" of sorts, and sometimes pricey but it the long run it pays you back 100%.
Start with the little stuff and work your way up. Maybe get some cold air in that motor too. And by the way, a 12 second street car is NOTHING to sneeze at!!!!
