![]() A 302 based stroker should be fine for a daily driver. Gas mileage may suffer some, but that really depends just how much you keep your foot in the gas.
With a nice mild H/C/I combo and solid tune (dyno tune), you can have yourself a very powerful street car that retains it manners and is a blast to drive - all while being very reliable. Just my opinion (not looking to get into the whole 331 vs 347 debate), but for a daily driver that will likely see alot of mileage (based on your 180,000 already racked-up), I would stick with the 331 option.
