I test all my engines on the engine dyno at Victory Engines (www.victoryengines.com). With my current motor, I'm spinning it to 8500rpm even though we never pulled it that high on the dyno; we stopped at about 7700rpm (and still hadn't seen peak HP). Its only through running time and time again at the track and keeping very detailed notes on the performance that I have been able to keep increasing my rev limit without hurting the motor. I use an Autometer Dual Channel Tachometer to record both engine and driveshaft data for every run, then carefully disect that data.

What promotes high rpm stability? Lots! Full titanium valvetrain including custom Victory 1 Performance titanium valves, lightened pushrods with oil restricted tips, high-rev cam lobe profiles, lightweight neutral balanced internals, perfectly matched rocker arms, and most importantly meticulous attention to every detail of the engine building process.
