The V6 is almost as big in displacement as the V8. The V8 might be as light as the V6 though, since it has aluminum block. But for the purchase price difference and insurance the V6 might be a better deal. Are they still putting the smaller rearend with the V6? It is very easy to bump the V6 over 300hp.

Just read the Musclemustangs article it had much more info than the Ford website. The V6 gets the 7.5 rear the V8 gets an improved 8.8. They say the 05 is better in every dynamic way than the older Mustangs.

Heres a red V-6er at the Ford dealership down the road from my house.
Dont mind me in the pic, my bf accidently got me in the pic. Despite being a V-6 it was ans is beautiful! ![]()
