If could have any 10 cars, what would they be?
10. Sounds kinda easy. Then you look at all the cars out there, and all those that were just concepts, or prototypes. One time race cars, the list goes on. I know of a few cars that I would want, but narrowing the field to 10.....that's asking alot.
10. 1965 GT 350 with a racing pedigree 9. 1969 Holman Moody Boss 429 8. 1986 SVO comp prep 7. 1993 Cobra R 6. 1995 Cobra R 5. 2000 Cobra R 4. 200* Saleen S7 3. 2005 Ford GT(duh!) 2. 1966 427 Shelby AC Cobra 1. 1993 Mustang LX notch back, because it's easier to get, and I won't feel bad about messing with it. In all honesty, I couldn't decide what to make the number one car for me, and I just threw something in there that is within the realm of possibility. This is the list for now, and is only my Ford list. This isn't even my Total list. So what would you want, and in what order? |

Awesome idea for a post. Here's my 10:
10. 1966 - 1969 GTO, not picky but Tri-power is a must. 9. 2005 Ford GT 8. 2007 Cobra R (If you build it, they will come!) 7. '66 428 SCJ "pro street" Mustang 6. 1970 Boss 302, Calypso Coral 5. 1969 Boss 429 Grabber blue, please. 4. One of the first 10 original WHITE Thunderbolts 3. 62-67 Galaxie 500 Big block with a hand box. EXCEPT '65, yuk! 2. 1967 Shelby GT500KR 1. Street Renegade car, with enough spare parts and cheddar for a few seasons. As an "alternate" pick, I'd like MY car with enough $$$ to build it the way she looks and runs in my mind, but that's a gimme.

There is a 78 King Cobra in our club I would take. It belongs to a kid about 17, his dad bought it new, it is a big time show winner. His daily is a black Bullitt. I would take a King Cobra like that one.
My sister had a 75 Mustang II in high school, V6 4 speed (or 5, my memory fades) and would get 3rd gear scratch I bet she didnt know about. Not wonderful cars, but they kept the Mustang name alive while Ford remembered how to build performance again!

Axtually, if I had the mythic "unlimited budget" I would have to get a II too. My first car was a '77 v-6. Can we saw 393 EFI swap?

10. Ferrari Enzo
9. Lambo Mercelago 8. Austin Martin DBR9 7. Austin Martin V12 Vanquish 6. Ford GT 5. Porche 959(always liked that car) 4. Ford Lightning Concept 3. BMW X5, don't ask.....I just figure if you are going to have to grow up and be responsible, do it in style. 2. 1949 Mercury, extreme dark puprle, almost black, with side pipes that shoot flames and all the really cool fifties stuff. 1. My Car. I don't mean a car that I go out and buy. I mean the car in my head, the one I have always wanted to build, from the ground up. Well, that's my list for today...it'll change in 5 minutes, so don't read too much into it. Later.
