Fuse links are usually two sizes smaller than the wire it's protecting.
Whatever gauge that wire is......go two sizes smaller and that will be the size you need.

Jester the rating on his alternator should be 80amps for a stocker. I just bought a new alt. for my '88 the other day and it's rated at 80amps...or was it 85 amps?? It's either 80 or 85 amps though.
