Default Re: Engine Test stand

i made simple test stand for motor, i had an old truck welded two simple bars across one infront and one behind motor mount locations far enough away so they werent in way to keep alignment proper , cut frame section out with torches about 16 each way from motor mounts. weld on some adjustable legs with braces all around and some steel wheels to roll on and bravo ready to go stand. next time i do it i will remember one thing ................. leave the dang radiator and mounts in place so no messing around for coolant frame after duhhhhhhhhhhhh. i suppose also if you had room you could leave aough of the frame intact to mount full tranny up to use as storage craddle for complete rolling set up to test fire on.
