My son and I are building up an 88GT with a MAC system including: long-tube headers, short H-pipe with cats, and MAC cat-bak. I heard this setup on a 289 who ran the same setup. The idle sound was certainly beefier than stock setup - and when he kicked it sound was really deep. Owner said it was due to the long-tube headers vs shorties.
We'll have our new system installed in a week or two and the engine running again. |
