Unit - Usually when Ford makes their HP claim on those motors, somewhere it is stated those numbers are for a motor with basically every other option bolted up to it (new exhaust, intake, TB, etc.). Just for comparision, I had that crate motor except with the GT-40 iron heads and I believe it was 8.5:1 compression. With all my bolt-on's I made the numbers in my sig., which would put it just over 300 hp at the crank. I don't know what the bump in compression and the aluminum heads are worth, but I just thought I'd throw out my numbers for comparison.
