The slip on connectors go either to the temp sending unit or the oil pressure sending unit. Which one does not register?
As for the electronic ignition, I recommend whole heartedly the MSD components. Get the magnetic sensing distributor with the MSD 6-AL ignition box. Also get the MSD recommended coil. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER the Mallory components. I've used these and am replacing them with MSD as they fail over and over again. Rev
