![]() In theory, the faster you can get the air in and the faster you get the air out, the faster you are gonna go. They dynoed a mustang with headers, H-pipe, & stock mufflers, ran the quarter w/passenger seat out,and iced down the intake, then bolted some dynomax muffs, dynoed again, LOST 7hp. but because reduced backpressure GAINED 65ft. lbs. of torque ran on the quarter w/passenger seat in, no ice, and ran faster with higher m.p.h. I went with an h-pipe w/no cats and flows.love the sound.,and if didn't gain any power, it sure DID feel and sound like it!!!I should also say that I believe that exhaust dosent give horsepower it just frees up the h.p. you already have. I guess sorta like how aluminum flywheels, and drive shafts dosen't give h.p. but allows more of it to be used, sorta. IMO nomatter the exhaust you choose you can't beat the sweet sound produced by a V8 mustang!
