Definitely go with the 351 block. You have more displacement to work with, as well as more horsepower and torque. Displacement is not replaceable. The stroker kit in the 351 will give you incredible power numbers with the T-trim. In my opinion, its almost a waste of money to buy another block that is not of a larger size. A blown 331 has the potential to make some good numbers, but nothing compared to a blown 408. As for as longevity of your bottom end, that will all depend on your internals.
I'm sure a few people are going to disagree with me, so be ready for an argument.... |
