One more thing. If you get a checking account, you can apply for the visa check card and use it to pay for parts. You use it just like a credit card, only the money comes directly out of you checking account. I got one and I use the hell out of it. Mr 5.0 is right, you will eventually need both a checking account and a credit card. The credit card will help you build up your credit. So when you get ready to buy a home, you will at least have some credit.
