Had a friend in Cali, that had a dyno and did a test with just that, the 90 degree elbow for the "in the fender" filter, cost 3-4 hp on that particular car, also picked up 1 hp from a larger (longer) K&N filter verses the short ones. Hey every pony counts!CAI isn't Cold air though if you don't put it in the fender, there are other products though to protect the filter from the hot air when not in the fender.
