I went to the Bullitt/Mach1 Shootout this weekend, I have Bullitt fever, so I checked out ebay and found this. Can you believe someone bought a Bullitt Mustang brand new and parked it in the garage for 4 years just to sell as a collector's item? What a waste!

Somebody posted a link here a while back for a 93 cobra, red, had (iirc) less than 100 miles on it, seats and stuff were still "factory wrapped", paperwork still in the window...

Must be nice to have enough money to buy an "instant classic" or real classic for that matter, and just sit on it for 10 years. Just so you can sell it. People like that annoy me. They dont love the cars. To them its just an investment. I can understand knowing and protecting an automobile investment you care about, but thats just sad. Hell, if that describes you, dont do it, invest it in bonds or something, and let that classic car go to someone who will enjoy it, and look at it as more than a "high yield fund". Sorry, \rant J

I wish I had the kind of money to buy a $30K car and sit on it for years. I hope he LOSES money, which he probably will trying to sell it now. 10 years from now he may make some money, but right now there are too many low mileage well kept Bullitts out there for reasonable price.

Haha, there was a Honda dealership had a 2001 Bullitt GT advertised on ebay at the same time, it was Laser Red!! Anyone who knows anything about Bullitts knows there are no red ones, only Dark Highland Green, Black and True Blue. It did have the Bullitt wheels, I guess that makes it a Bullitt at a Honda dealership.

I'm surprised they didn't go for broke and slap on a "R" badge and a vtec sticker, too, that raises the value by like, thousands. ![]()
