![]() IT F***in sucks to deal with these replace a part, don't know what there doing, trying to make a buck but never read a book mechanics. I have had 6 cars and all too many of those. Unfortunately it seems if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself, or find a good mechanic school like a jr college that takes clients. That way thing should be done by the book, charge you less and repair any mistakes made by the students at no charge to you.

![]() I agree that it is pretty much a crap shoot when trying to find someone reputable. There are many horror stories but once in a while you can find a gem. I had my engine rebuilt by City Motor Supply in Dallas about a year ago. They did a great job and charged what they quoted to the penny. A rare pleasant experience. E.
