The 1969 Dodge Charger was always 'tough' and the 'General Lee' Charger just made it all the more popular.
36 years later, it's still tough but then, so is a 1969 'Super Boss' 429 Mustang by Tasca Ford. The '68 Mustang GT 390 used by Steve McQueen in the movie 'Bullitt' also helped popularize that particular (and already-popular) musclecar. The late sixties: a great era for musclecars.
