There are two ways to do this assuming you have WOT activation. I have heard of a lock-out switch that get installed to your shifter if you have a 5 speed. When the shifter in in 1st gear, it activates a relay which prevents the solenoids from activating. How you set this up, really depends on the type of kit you have. If it were me, I would wire it in to the same ground as the window switch or the WOT swicth. That way, logic would follow that you would need to be at WOT, within your rpm window, AND NOT be in 1st gear in order to spray.
Another method would be to use an electric counter. Each time you go to WOT, a electronic counter would start counting. You set it up to spray at counts 2+. That way, the first time you go to WOT, it won't spray. Fool proof? No. These methods may complicate things more than you need.
