Typically I use Chlorox cleanup and a toothbrush, but I have used straight bleach before. Use a sponge to apply the bleach in small areas and scrub with a brush. I used a pressure washer to blast the bleach off the top so that none was able to run down the side of the car. I have noticed nothing bad as a result, but I do apply another coat of wax after doing this.

Sorry, after reading again I see you have a beige top, mine's white. I'm not certain how this would work full strength. If you try it, I would definitely dilute it.
