I am currently installing a 9 inch 79 Lincoln Versalli rear end in my 65 FB. It bolts right in with no modes with the exception of re-routing the brake lines a little. This is the best way to go in order to get a more heavey duty rearend as well as disc brakes. Also, the front spindles of the same car as well as Granadas work for the front and you get matching calipers. The tie rods have to be converted though.
