I used the instructions from a Haynes manuel to adjust mine. Works great. I actually set the cable 1/16 shorter than it should, trans shifts hard in every gear, stays in each gear longer. My car is bone stock except for cat back Flowmasters and itll bark sec. gear hard, with 2.73s out back. Before I adjusted the cable it shifted soft and was in 3rd or OD before you new it. If you got on t in 1st gear and let off a little it would skip sec. some times. Ive been driving my car over a year like this and have not had any more problems with it.
