My very first car was an '83 GLX... I thought they were identical as well although I've never looked side by side.

Well, I dont know about the body/frame specs (a little "drift" over the years wouldn't surprise me though), but what rims were on the 83? Could just be different backspacing? Is it all 4 wheels?
