Default 87-93 front end on 84 gt

how hard is it to change out the front bumpers and if i change them out can i just buy the 6 piece kit off of ebay and just make a wiring harness??? my grandpa is a bucket truck electrician and a wiring harness would be no prblem so how hard is it to change out the fornt ends

If you want the complete front end clip from an 87-93 mustang on your '84GT then you will also need the 87-93 hood.
I don't know about the wiring kit you're talking about but I know it can and has been done before.

Look at my sig. That there's a 1985 LX, with a '93 nose/hood.

No wiring harness, just have to change the plugs for the "newer style" bulbs is all. HAVE to change the hood, headlights, frontend, and MOST importantly.......

Fender kickers! The newer noses are wider than the 80's models, and Ford actually built little kickers that bolt on the bottom fender in front of the wheel. That way, ALL the fenders are the same, just add the little kickers so the body line matches the new wider nose.

yeah, those are called fender extensions. Also remember the mouldings will be different style so the bumper cover moulding wont match your body moulding exactly as far as looks go.
