If I was going to buy another Mustang, it would be a 93 Cobra.

Ooh boy, you just opened a can of worms. You're going to get all sorts of answers to this, as I'm sure all of us here have our favorites. Speaking from my experience, I'd never say one particular year, trim package, etc., is the "best". Is this what you're referring to, when you ask which "model" is better? Or are you looking at new Mustangs and are trying to decide on which to go with? I need a little clarification here.

In my personal opinion: I will forever be in love with 1987-1993 Mustangs. My first ride in a Mustang was when I was 12 years old, in a blue 1989 GT. I was hooked. Probably the reason I don't like the body style AT ALL of the 1994-1998 (SN95) Mustangs, since that signified the "end" of the Fox-body Mustang that I knew so well. IMHO, they are too rounded, almost looking like a Grand Prix/Am in my eyes. What were they doing, trying to turn my beloved pony car into a chick-box? I like the tough, cut, muscular look of '99-'04 Mustangs, but probably not as much as the refined retro look of the '05.

I'd have to go with the 85-86... a little less horsepower, but come on who keeps them stock anyway. I miss my 86 GT Convertible. I love the front end on those cars! The black hoodstripe and all. Now they're so rare I can't find another one! And second place goes to the beloved 93 Cobra... it's what dreams are made of. Especially the electric blue.

Dont get me wrong, I love my classic. But....if I was too build another, or heck just drive another....would be an 89-93 5.0. Lots of them around, cool looks, and so cheap to make soo fast. Just my personal opinion, without knowing exactly what you are lookin for.

I am sure an 05 would be the highest rate. I only pay 50 bucks a month on my 91 and 69. The 91 is only 19 bucks a month. The 69 is higher because i have colloctors insurance on it. Collectors insurance is funny the better the car the lower the insurance. They told me when i get my car painted the insurance will go down.
