What I had put in my C-4 included:
1) 3000 stall TCI converter
2) high performance clutches and bands
3) B&M shift kit
4) B&M deep finned cast aluminun pan
5) TCI trans cooler

Whether you need a 2500 or 3000 stall depends somewhat on where the power band is in your engine and your rear gear ratio.

I got the transmission itself rebuilt with the high performance clutches and bands for $500. The rest I bought from Summit and installed myself.
