Not a whole lot it could be other than what you've mentioned... If both heater hoses are hot, I would have a hard time believing it was the heater core.
If it is blowing air, then the air has to be coming from somewhere... if that somewhere is anywhere on the other side of the heater core, it would be hot (if both heater hoses are hot)... Is there any chance that the heater box is clogged and you aren't drawing in air from the outside? Instead, you are merely pushing air in the "outgoing" plenum? Sort of like a fan that has its back against the wall instead of the open window? |
