I m using a 5 speed out of a 4 banger in mine this summer ,it will proabbly brake but i know people that have used them and got away with it. you have to change the pilot bearing.They are geared a little lower too so it will mess your speedo.

Shouldn't change your speedo. The speedometer gear is driven off the output shaft of the transmission so the speedometer doesn't care what gear you're in, just the output shaft revolutions. If it's wrong, you're just using the wrong speedo gear.
