![]() just gotta remember to use them, i've seen numerous guys have their hoods pop up on them after forgetting to pin them. It will destroy the hood, cowl panel, windshield, and sometimes the roof. I had an old hood that had pins and I used the stock latch still just as a secondary latch, although it probably wasn't needed. I would however recommend keeping the safety latch (the spring/hook mechanism) though.
