![]() 96-early 97 intakes have the INTERNAL EGR passages like the stock intake, so it can be bolted on with an EGR spacer and used like the stock intake - BUT - the ACT hole is not drilled/tapped which can be done with a 9/16" drill and a 3/8" NPT tap. Or you can move the ACT to the air tube.
The GT40/Cobra/Explorer all flow within a couple of cfm of each other and all make the same average power over the rpm range.
