I had to go from a TCI Breakaway to the TCI Streetfighter when I changed cam and intake. I do have a 6500 rpm module limiter and try to shift at 6000. My tach may read 200 too low, so I'm probably really shifting at 6200. Bottom end on mine is stock with Pioneer rod bolts and forged TRW pistons. Doesn't seem to hurt anythig at that rpm. The Streetfighter seems about right for my application and does stall right about 3000 rpm.

I had a streetfighter behind my 428 and it only stalled at 2700. I went to the super street fighter and now it stalls at 3500. That is with a c-6. It is probally totally different for your car.

Rev, my 351 was rebuilt sometime before I owned it, but it was done with stock replacement parts. No forged anything, stock replacement bolts, etc. I think 6000 might be a bit too low of an rpm for the limiter, but I know 7000 would be too high...sooo, just to be safe I opted for the 6000 plug. I'd really like to see a 3200-3500 stall speed...I think I might be leaning more towards the Super Streetfighter now. ![]() |
