Good point Rev. The oil pan that I ordered comes with a gasket but from the photo it appears to be 4 sections. Will I be able to pick up a one piece gasket at the usual parts places - O'Reilly, Auto Zone, etc? I want to keep this as painless as possible. Thanks. E.

A question for Rev or anyone. My oil pan arrived today and yes, it came with a 4 piece Fel-Pro gasket set. As I mentioned, it is a Canton brand cadmium plated oil pan. An accompanying note states "We have found that one-piece gaskets do not seal as effectively as the four-piece style with our pans". What do you think? Should I go with the 4-piece set provided or try to get a one-piece gasket? Thanks again for your help. E.
