![]() No prob with getting the right carb. You just need floats in the floatbowl that won't be crushed with the boost pressure. You do need the right fuel pump that will provide enough pressure over the boost pessure to supply the carb. I think Paxton makes all that very clear in the instructions (download them from their website).
I have often considered adding that system to my car. The problem for me is I can't imagine giving up the export brace and the montecarlo bar that reinforces the front end on early Mustangs. Remember that the early mustangs had Falcon front ends that are structurally very weak. Shelby fixed all that with the heavier after market export or "shock tower" brace and the montecarlo bar. The loss of that suppoort, I just don't think I could accept. Most claim 30-50% increase of hp with that unit. That's without any form of heat exchanger.
