Default Re: 289 to 351 Windsor swap in a 64 1/2 Mustang

how about this ...instead of swapping to a 351w - which would be nice don't get me wrong

keep the 289 or upgrade to a 302 and get you a nice pair of heads (afr 165s, trickflows ...whatever floats your boat) and a decent cam, rpm air gap, a nice carb and be done. saves you the time and money of the swap

maybe even grab you a 5.0L roller block and you can have a nice roller cam while your at it

is there anything even wrong with that 289 or you just want more?
do you already have the 351 block?
