I tried a handful of those carbs and just didn't have any luck... I had found a good deal on a new carb for my 72, and ended up putting the 72 carb (C-1-RBS) on the 200. I did need to do a couple of "modifications" like relocating the linkage on the carb and boring out the spacer to allow for the free movement of the slightly larger butterfly, but the thing ran perfect and I haven't had a problem with it since.

I still can't decide if I'm more happy that it runs well, or more pissed off that I wasted so much time with the 1100s... I tried 4 of them, including one right from the parts house...


If you don't find the problem otherwise, I might suggest that you take a trip to ebay and look for a different type of carb...
